Isabel bypasses New York. Hopefully everyone is safe and sound down South…I still haven’t been able to get through to the family in Chesapeake, but I presume all is ok, give or take some felled trees and power outages.

Hey Kev – we just got electricity and cable back, but the phones are still down. Besides four trees that fell down, a whole bunch of leaves and sticks everywhere, a broken window, and a swamp in the backyard, all is well at our house. Many people in the neighborhood had trees hit their houses and some garages were flooded, so I guess we were pretty lucky. Sadly, the dock at the end of the road was completely destroyed. So, except an approaching weekend of fun fun yardwork, we’re fine.
Hey Tes…good to hear. I tried the cellys but no one picked up. Enjoy the stick picking up…I guarantee it’ll probably be less work than post-Hugo.
