Harvey and the Moff.

In a bizarre conflation of sinister intergalactic bureaucrats, Wayne Pygram, a.k.a. Farscape‘s Scorpius, is cast as Grand Moff Tarkin (well, more than likely) in Episode III. There’s also some goofy rumor going around that Peter “Chewbacca” Mayhew has been signed for four SW films. Sheah. Update: On a semi-related Star Wars note, check out this tricked-up “H-Wing” Civic del Sol (More here.)…now here’s a guy who’d be into a third SW trilogy.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Bizarre rumors emanating from the Lucas backlot of late. First we’ve got these make-up trials of Young Tarkin (I suspect these could just be fanboy Photoshops.) And word is the forthcoming super-duper ultra-mega-editions of the original films will include a CGI Kung-Fu Alec Guinness. Ugh…don’t fix what ain’t broke, people.

Darth Timberlake.

Filming has started on Episode III, and as such the official site premiered Anakin’s new look, which apparently is meant to accord with the ’70’s aesthetic of Star Wars. Not exactly the menacing visage I originally envisioned under the mask. Update: As Scully noted in the comments, the pic’s been taken down, by order of Lucas. Trust me, you didn’t miss much.
