Whoa–sounds like Chabon has really gutted his own book, hasn’t he? That list of “Things you WON’T see in the movie” was basically a rundown of my favorite scenes from the novel. Damn.
F&$k! I am reading this book right now, and I recently said to Nisa “One on the many things I like about this book is that I doubt it will be made into a movie.” *sigh*
