For me it’s one of those movies above everything in the Oscars, and there were some great movies, but it was in a class by itself, way above all of it, and that was ‘The New World,’ Terrence Malick’s movie…I don’t know why it completely disappeared. Wow, I find myself agreeing with Wim Wenders. That movie was the one that knocked me for a loop last year, emotionally and artistically. I had to make people wait for me to recover as the end credits rolled. And the young girl who plays Pocohantas is MAGNIFICENT. A great film if you’ve got the patience to watch something without a conventionally structured/paced storyline.
