“What would happen if an astronaut became mentally unstable in space and, say, destroyed the ship’s oxygen system or tried to open the hatch and kill everyone aboard?” Yet another use for that miracle of miracles, duct tape, is discovered: restraining crazy astronauts in space. Hmmm. Somehow I doubt that would’ve worked on Ash.

1 more case for teleoperative robots inspace instead of humans for now! Also, submariners go months at a time underwater and I am sure that they have long since developed restraining procedures during WWII….gotta believe there were some who may have started to crack under the unbelievable stress of having Uboats nearby and you relied only on hand charts and zig-zagging evasive maneuvers.
