Streets stank of fire.

Man, seeing that shot of the newsstand gives me some hope for the film. I will be so disappointed if this fails.

Yeah, the newsstand looks note-perfect. Then again, given that the source material is a graphic novel, art and production designs are the easiest things to get right (and were also the best things about Snyder’s 300.) Still, the attention to detail is admirable: the Nixon poster, the Watchmen graffiti, the Tales of the Black Freighter poster at the newsstand, the Veidt Sport ad at the bus stop, etc.
