Good news for big-idea sci-fi fans…Apparently, Darren Aronofsky’s mysterious The Fountain is back from the dead, with Hugh Jackman replacing Brad Pitt. On the other end of the sci-fi scale, Charlize Theron is signed for a live-action Aeon Flux, which I could really see being Tomb Raider-terrible.

In a perfect world, Claudia Black would play Aeon Flux and Jude Law would be Trevor Goodchild. Oh, well.
There’s still hope for Jude, but my choice would have been Ralph Fiennes, though neither is thin or blonde enough for the role! 😉
What’s important is that the movie achieves the style and surreality of the cartoon. Remember the portal in the fatman’s chest, or the seraphs?
