The full trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is now online. Looks solid but tone is everything. Also, it never occurred to me until watching this how much Time Bandits follows this same template.
While I know that there’s a risk in the expansion of the story to three films, I trust PJ&Co not to muck it up too badly. And what I’m seeing keeps a somewhat light tone, while remaining visually consistent with the LotR trilogy. So far I remain cautiously optimistic.
