Speed Kills.
The brothers Wachowski return to the fold with a bizarre new trailer for their live-action Speed Racer, starring Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, Matthew Fox, John Goodman, and Susan Sarandon. Ouch, my brain hurts...Not sure I see myself sitting through two hours of this one, even with the Wachowski imprimatur.

About the only saving grace to it is the guest appearance of the trunk monkey
Obviously I need more coffee to keep up.
Based on nothing more than that trailer and the reputations of those involved, I suspect this is going to be a glorious disaster stylized beyond all belief and nearly impenetrable. It'll probably make a mint in Japan, too.
