I just can't agree with the bit in the NY Times article that referred to the "sharp edges of their dancing." After seeing many different dancers portray Lise as droopy and pining, I feel that G. has finally brought to the role the vivacity that Lise requires.

Possibly because I know her slightly through my love of dancing I am prejudiced, but I really don't think so. She was wonderful, and vibrant!
